Objectives

The objectives of the 2024–2025 program were consistent with those identified during the program’s presentation phase, namely: Objective 1: To encourage young people’s participation in democratic and cultural life, at the local and transnational levels; Objective 2: To invest in the non-formal education of vulnerable young people and youth workers through continuing education opportunities that enable their participation in the economic and social fabric; this contributes to the realization of their rights and represents a step toward reducing structural inequalities related to economic, geographic, and social factors; Objective 3: To strengthen exchanges with associations and staff in countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region. Through the 2024–2025 program and the three mobility initiatives carried out, the specific objectives were: Specific Objective 1 (Ruract project): To strengthen the skills of young people in inland, rural, and marginalized areas through peer-to-peer exchange, with the aim of promoting their social, occupational, and economic inclusion; Specific Objective 2 (ARCS Beyond Borders project – job shadowing): to improve the effectiveness of the organization in its work with young people at the local, national, and European levels by addressing the self-perceived pedagogical gaps among its youth workers, particularly in the following areas: digital literacy, gender issues, decolonial and postcolonial practices, environmental sustainability, non-formal education practices, and community building; Specific Objective 3 (Through the Med project): To co-develop a program of interventions, activities, and projects with youth workers from associations in Lebanon and Jordan in order to enhance their capacity to work toward the inclusion of young people in the Euro-Mediterranean region, particularly through art, outdoor activities, and the revitalization of public spaces.
