Objectives

With “Oops!... I Wasted It Again!”, we aimed to address the global issue of food waste, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). The main objective was to raise awareness among young people about the impact their daily actions can have on reducing waste and promoting sustainable consumption. We aimed to: - Increase awareness of the environmental, economic, and social impact of food waste, with a focus on the use of natural resources (water, soil, energy) and greenhouse gas emissions. - Promote sustainable practices through non-formal education activities (no-waste cooking workshops, exchange of good practices on composting and recycling, mindful reading of food labels). - Encourage intercultural dialogue and the exchange of experiences among young people from six European countries (Italy, France, Greece, Spain, North Macedonia, and Turkey), creating a network committed to reducing waste. - Stimulate future project design (especially Erasmus+) and the implementation of awareness-raising initiatives in both local and international communities, in line with the priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme.
