Objectives

The 'Painting smiles, nurturing bodies' project is a direct response to the European Commission's Healthy Lifestyle 4All initiative, with the active participation of organisations from Italy, Bulgaria and Slovakia. The main aim is to address the significant challenges young Europeans face in relation to the lack of healthy habits, including physical inactivity, inadequate nutrition and the increasing prevalence of mental health problems. The project's methodology focuses on the use of art and culture as educational and empowerment tools. Through artistic activities, the project aims not only to educate young people about the importance of a healthy lifestyle, but also to inspire them to become advocates for positive change in their communities. International mobility plays a crucial role in providing young people with the opportunity to share different experiences and cultural perspectives, thereby strengthening their intercultural understanding. The project has specific objectives, such as improving the physical and mental well-being of the young participants, developing personal, social and artistic skills, creating a lasting international support network and encouraging youth-led initiatives to promote healthier lifestyles in their communities. In the long term, the project is expected to generate significant impact by creating a sustained network for the continuous exchange of ideas and experiences, strengthening young people as agents of positive change in their communities and contributing to the overall objectives of the Healthy Lifestyle 4All campaign.
