The goal of CRAFTED – CReating Artisanal Functional Tools for Educating was to inspire young people to experience arts and crafts as tools for engaging with their peers and the community. The specific objectives of CRAFTED were as follows: - the implementation of a youth exchange involving 20 young people and four group leaders from four different countries (Greece, Portugal, Turkey, and Italy) in exploring artisanal arts as tools for participation and connection; - the identification of new methods within the four partner organizations, over the course of 10 months of collaboration, to engage young people in community life through workshops and manual activities. - the involvement of young people from local communities in the promotion of artisanal arts, in collaboration with local stakeholders, through the organization of workshops involving at least ten young people per country, many of whom, for personal or work reasons, are unable to participate in Erasmus+ mobility; -increasing international exploration of craft arts as a means of connecting with peers, through the organization of an online motivational event and the creation of an Instagram challenge dedicated to completing weekly craft-related tasks.
