The project "Digitalisation, Life is Your Creation" was developed in response to the growing need for young people to navigate the digital world in a safe, ethical, and informed way. In today’s society, where digital technologies and social media play a dominant role in shaping behavior, opinions, and opportunities, the lack of awareness about digital ethics, misinformation, and cyberbullying presents serious risks to young people’s well-being and civic participation. The main objective of the project was to empower young people aged 18–27 from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds to become responsible and engaged digital citizens. We aimed to equip participants with critical digital literacy skills, including the ability to identify misinformation, manage their digital footprint, protect personal data, and use digital tools ethically and creatively. The project placed strong emphasis on the importance of intercultural dialogue, inclusion, respect, and empathy—core values that support a more equitable and respectful digital community. Through a series of interactive workshops, discussions, simulations, and creative activities, the project also aimed to raise awareness about the consequences of cyberbullying, online hate speech, and privacy violations. A unique focus of the project was on experiential learning, allowing participants to explore both the roles of cyberbully and victim, and to reflect on the ethical challenges and emotional impact involved. In addition, we wanted to foster a sense of community and solidarity among participants from six different countries—Italy, Estonia, Poland, Portugal, Türkiye, and North Macedonia—encouraging the sharing of experiences and building lasting intercultural friendships. The overall objective was not only to enhance individual skills, but also to motivate participants to become multipliers of the project’s values in their local communities, thereby creating a broader and more sustainable impact. The project was also aligned with the objectives of the Erasmus+ Programme, particularly in promoting inclusion, digital transformation, democratic participation, and sustainability.
