Objectives

The main goal of the project, Youth For Intercultural Peace we implemented in Naples, Italy was to bring young people from different cultures together and help them understand and respect each other. With this project, we wanted to encourage our participants to fight against problems like racism, discrimination, cultural conflicts, and xenophobia, which are becoming more common in many countries. Since too many people started to move out to different countries for work, education, or safety, it’s important that we learn to live together peacefully. However, sometimes lack of knowledge and negative experiences cause people to judge others unfairly. This can cause to fear and hate between different groups. By implementing this project, we wanted to help young people see that being different is okay. We wanted to create a space where they can talk, learn from each other, and see the value in diversity. The aim was to build love, respect, and tolerance so that everyone can live together in peace, no matter where they come from or what they believe. We wanted participants to spread what they learned during the project both in the local and international communities. Objectives: -Promote intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding among young people from diverse backgrounds. -Raise awareness about the negative impacts of racism, discrimination, xenophobia, and cultural conflicts. -Encourage tolerance, respect, and acceptance of differences through open conversations and shared experiences. -Provide a safe and inclusive space for young people to express themselves and learn from one another. -Strengthen participants’ ability to recognize and challenge prejudice and stereotypes. -Foster a sense of global citizenship and solidarity among youth. -Equip young people with tools to actively promote peace and diversity in their own communities. -Inspire participants to share the knowledge and experiences gained during the project with their local and international peers. -Contribute to building more inclusive and harmonious societies across Europe and beyond.
