The ANJA youth exchange aimed to deepen and share information on the topic of violence and to explore useful tools to learn to understand and learn how to help others in situations of violence. The central aspects of the activities were the path of empowerment and the push for resilience to lead each participant, whether they survived episodes and experiences of violence, to a greater awareness of themselves, of their own experiences and those of others. The objectives were: 1. Deconstructing the stereotypes of gender-based violence that still associate the phenomenon only with the "female" sphere, leaving out the male sphere and that associated with LGBTQI+ young people. 2. Raising awareness of the prevention of gender-based violence through peer education 3. Develop knowledge and skills to counter attitudes that contribute to the creation of an environment in which violence is tolerated or even condoned 4. Encourage the process of personal and group empowerment 5. To create an awareness of the importance of individual responsibility in relationship dynamics. 6. To create a space for the exchange of good practices adopted by associations to prevent and combat violence in general and to honour violence.
