The environmental challenge of resource conservation and climate change represents a crucial issue for future generations. At the same time, the socio-economic situation in Southern Italy, highlighted by the 2023 Svimez Report with a youth unemployment rate of 33.2%, together with the migration of young talents abroad in search of better job opportunities has made a targeted intervention urgent. The project Inspire Change was created with the aim of responding to these needs, addressing the challenges faced by the community of Carpinone and promoting a shift in mindset towards more sustainable lifestyles and development models. The main goal was to create new perspectives for young people by enhancing the local territory, fostering green entrepreneurship, and strengthening civic engagement. Through educational and cultural activities, participants were encouraged to become conscious and active European citizens, able to transform ideas into concrete projects. The specific objectives included: - developing intercultural, linguistic and entrepreneurial competences; - stimulating creativity and innovation; - promoting youth employment; - reinforcing knowledge and appreciation of the local territory; - raising awareness on environmental sustainability; - stimulating reflection on the importance of dialogue and exchange; - fostering the growth of engaged and responsible European citizens.
