When we started this project, we asked ourselves: “What kind of impact can living a few days in close contact with nature, with people from different countries, sharing every moment of the day, really have?” We found the answer along the way: we wanted to live an authentic experience — one where we could learn to take care of animals, the environment, and also of ourselves. We set ourselves simple yet meaningful goals: to rediscover a real connection with nature, not as spectators but as active participants; to learn the value of cooperation, mutual respect, and living in community; to reflect together on issues that matter to us — sustainability, nonviolence, and active citizenship; and to embrace our differences as a form of richness, speaking different languages but sharing the same emotions. More than a project, it was a journey. And in the end, what we brought home was a new sense of responsibility — towards the world, and towards ourselves.
