We implemented the project “MAGIC - Music and Art for Greater Inclusion and Communication” together with all partners with the aim of promoting social inclusion, cultural integration and personal development of young people through art and non-formal education. We set out to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where participants could freely explore and express their creativity, strengthen their communication skills and develop intercultural awareness. The project aimed to address the challenges related to the lack of educational and social opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities, responding to the need for spaces of expression and active participation, and fostering encounters between young people from different cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. The main objectives the project aimed to achieve were: - Promote the social inclusion of young people through collective and participatory artistic practices. - To develop participants' transversal skills, such as teamwork, more effective communication, leadership skills and expression through art. - To foster intercultural understanding, breaking down stereotypes and prejudices. - To offer young people a non-formal and meaningful learning experience, which could increase self-confidence and self-efficacy. - Create spaces for discussion, active listening and intercultural dialogue, stimulating critical thinking and reflection on inclusion issues. - Promote active participation in society and local communities of participants, including through post-exchange follow-up activities. - To strengthen cooperation between partner organisations in Europe by developing networks and exchanges of good practices in non-formal education and artistic activities as a tool for inclusion. These actions acted as catalysts for positive change in the lives of the young participants and in their home communities, while contributing to the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme in the youth field, with a special focus on inclusion, diversity and active participation.
