Through the implementation of this project, we aimed to create a transformative learning experience that combined the power of creativity and psychology. Our intention was to support youth workers in guiding young people towards a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world, while also addressing the issue of youth mental health in Europe. The objectives of our project were: 1. Empowering youth workers: Recognizing the influential role of youth workers in guiding and supporting young people, we aimed to provide them with psychological and creative tools. This was to enable them to better assist young people on their journey of identity discovery. 2. Building supportive environments: The training aimed to help them promote a culture of open communication, empathy, and understanding, contributing to the overall well-being of young people and strengthening their own sense of purpose. 3. Addressing youth identity issues: As young people go through a crucial phase of self-discovery and identity formation, the project aimed to tackle specific challenges such as the lack of role models, the need to find meaning in reality, discovering one’s potential, and managing emotions and feelings. We strengthened the competencies of youth workers through experiential learning so they could provide strong and reliable support to young people.
