Objectives

"Harmony within: A Journey into Mind, Body, and Purpose" provided international youth workers with tools to support young people in engaging in physical activity as a means of caring for their bodies and minds. The objective was achieved thanks to the following results: O1. A six-day mobility activity for youth workers was organized and implemented, involving 18 youth workers active both locally (in the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia, and Italy) and internationally, in the experience and application of methods, techniques, and tools useful for engaging young people in integrating physical activity into their daily routines. O2. Practices for combining non-formal education with physical activity to support young people in achieving their physical and mental well-being were shared, developed, and validated within six partner organizations operating both locally and internationally: Brno Connected (Czech Republic), Colorful Psyche (Poland), Egyesület Békéscsaba Ifjúságáért (Hungary), and PATOS (Serbia). O3. Five local events were organized and held, one in each local community where the project partner organizations are active, engaging local organizations and institutions active in the fields of sport and mental health in a discussion on the importance of supporting young people in integrating physical activity into their daily lives. O4. A manual was developed and promoted internationally that youth workers and organizations can use to support young people in integrating physical activity into their daily routines, including references to literature, research, and specific methodologies. O5. An awareness-raising video has been created to raise awareness among young people about the importance of promoting and protecting their health and well-being through daily physical activity.
