The project "Rhythm with Signs Community" was a training course for 24 trainers and youth-workers with fewer opportunities due to geographical and economic obstacles that also resulted in a lmited access to job-trainings and possibilities to improve their work with Youth. The Participants are active members of the organizations joining this partnership, that work with groups of youngsters (from 15 to 25 years) and focus on art, especially music-based, workshops in their educational activities. The project partnership was composed of 5 organizations from 5 Programme Countries: France, Germany, Ireland, Italy and Spain. The training course was held in Capranica (Viterbo) for 7 days, from 14th to 20th December 2024. The themes chosen and their objectives were: 1) "Quality and Innovation in Youth Work", as the introduction and adoption of new training activities, together with new methodological tools, are the priority of the partnership that felt a strong need for updating and improving the activities for youth. 2) "Creativity & Culture", as they included the theme of music, the red line connecting our art-based activities and expressing the core of creativity and culture in our youthwork, where numerous art (and especially music-based) workshops are held for supporting a balanced physical, mental and emotional development of the youngsters. 3) "Entrepreneurial learning - Entrepreneurship education", as within our partnership social entrepreneurship is a strong distinctive character. Only a few people active in the non-profit sector and in social work enjoy permanent contracts and financial stability, thus we found within our partnership and among our participants a strong need to be trained and updated, in an international context, on the theme of social entrepreneurship, in order to empower their professional attitudes, skills and competences. The activities of the Training Course were based on artistic disciplines, in particular through the use of musical improvisation, mediated through the ludo-pedagogical language "Rhythm with Signs", which was shared with the Participants who now possess it and can use it in their activities with young people as a mean of aggregation through music, a mean of free expression and an innovative way to encourage communication between peers that goes beyond the barriers of shyness and prejudice. The main objective of the project was, therefore, to provide new working tools to the Youth Workers of each Association: tools that, as in a cascade, are now benefiting the young people who take part in the activities of each Association which, as a result, are experiencing a tangible strengthening of their training, educational and cultural offer in their territory and beyond.
