The objectives of the project were: • To enhance the knowledge of youth workers in the field of social economy and the development of cultural and creative enterprises; • To promote the acquisition of skills among young people for developing practices of social innovation; • To strengthen knowledge and key competences in social entrepreneurship and employability, fostering intercultural dialogue, cultural exchange, and diversity, in order to enhance adaptability to the European labor market. The project enabled young students and youth workers to design new social and cultural enterprises by analyzing their project ideas in terms of strengths and weaknesses, territorial and contextual relevance, and their capacity to achieve set objectives. It also supported them in promoting their initiatives both locally and at the European level, thereby enhancing human and social capital essential for personal growth, civic engagement, and participation in the labor market.
The project was presented as a follow-up to the YES project, expanding the partnership (from 2 to 3 partners) with the aim of enhancing resources and innovative planning, starting from social entrepreneurship as a key competence. Awareness-raising, education, the exchange of good practices, and peer-to-peer learning on social economy and cultural and creative entrepreneurship were the necessary tools to implement a pathway to develop and/or consolidate professional skills of a technical, economic-managerial, relational-communication, and socio-cultural nature, essential for working and moving consistently, safely, and consciously within a CCI (Cultural and Creative Industry). This initiative made it possible to train cultural entrepreneurs who are motivated and focused, equipped with specific management and administration skills, suitable for carrying out sustainable and replicable social enterprise activities.
