With this project, we aimed to raise awareness about migration processes, refugees and human rights and develop critical thinking about them. Also, in the second part of the youth exchange, we aimed to help participants identify in which topic they would like to be civic and represent someone's rights - for this we taught them to use diverse digital tools. With the above topics, we aimed to convey European values (not all the participants were from the European Union) such as freedom, security, combating social exclusion and discrimination, respect for the diversity of cultures and life. With this aim, we designed to establish connections between different national minorities living in Lithuania, Finland and Georgia, to learn to respect and understand the diversity surrounding them. All our young people will encounter cultural diversity in their environment and some will experience migration themselves. We hoped that by exploring their identity and cultural diversity, young people would gain a better understanding of themselves and the world around them, which would empower them to make better decisions and act more responsibly in their lives and communities.
