Aim & Objectives: "Voices of Empowerment" aims to create a system for communication between decision makers of Visaginas (representatives of the Municipality, the Youth Affairs Council, the Youth Affairs Coordinator of Visaginas) and local young people to ensure efficient and inclusive youth advocacy in the city. The project plans to achieve the aim by fulfilling the following objectives: 1) To strengthen the target group's ability to express their needs by organizing 20 events to develop their communication competencies (formulating and presenting ideas, empathy, ability to debate and discuss, and contextualize their needs within National and European youth politics). 2) To promote dialogue between decision-makers and young people of Visaginas by organizing 4 activities for both target groups to participate in and interact with each other. 3) To create a methodology that can be used by the Visaginas Municipality to assess and reassess the needs of young people in the city.
