Through exchanges within the ERASMUS+ project, we have: strengthened the skills of our healthcare professionals, helped break taboos through information, and submitted a strong proposal under a European call for projects. The aim is to create a holistic service for the prevention, care, and support of women facing female genital mutilation, complementing existing services in Luxembourg addressing violence.
Family Planning informs, supports, and defends sexual and reproductive rights. It offers listening, consultations, and sexuality education with respect for everyone, promoting equality, consent, and health for all. As part of Erasmus+, a multidisciplinary team joined a study visit (GAMS, CeMAViE, CPVS) and training with Gynaecologists Without Borders to strengthen skills in welcoming and supporting affected people.
