Mobisciences, led by the Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg, is an international mobility project connecting youth aged 13–30 through science. Operating across six countries—Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Tunisia, Portugal, and Morocco—it offers a transformative journey for young people, especially for those from under-priviliged backgrounds. The program blends scientific exploration with cultural discovery, enabling participants to travel, present projects, and take part in hands-on workshops, cultural visits, and peer dialogue. At its core, Mobisciences promotes scientific curiosity, personal growth, and international cooperation. The program blends science, creativity, and intercultural learning—sparking curiosity, boosting confidence, and building lasting friendships. Key Objectives: Promote Science & Careers: Spark interest in science and tech fields by showing that anyone can succeed and contribute meaningfully. Foster Mobility & Inclusion: Enable accessible, funded learning trips for all, particularly to those facing economic, geographical and / or language barriers. Celebrate Diversity: Encourage friendships, collaboration, and shared learning across cultures. Support Non-Formal Education: Offer real-world, project-based experiences beyond traditional classrooms. Build Strong Partnerships: Strengthen ties between educational and youth organizations for sustained impact, as well as between peers to foster future international cooperation and respect. This intercultural and interdisciplinary dialogue not only enriches participants’ scientific understanding but also contributes to their personal and civic development, empowering them to become active, informed, and engaged members of society. More than an event, Mobisciences is a platform—fueling ambition, widening perspectives, and cultivating a new generation of globally minded scientists and citizens. While pursuing these shared goals and values, Mobisciences also provides a unique opportunity to build long-lasting partnerships among associations, creating a network of professionals who learn from one another. Collaboration is continuous, supporting each partner in improving every step of project organization, from planning mobilities and travels (routes, visas) to coordinating scientific and cultural programs and managing groups of participants and supervisors. Communication remains open at all times, allowing the program to adapt to the needs of each partner, most of whom are small, non-profit, and non-professional organizations. Within this context, an Erasmus+ KA2 project represents the ideal framework to consolidate and further strengthen this collaboration. It would enable the network to move from informal cooperation towards standardized, structured, and sustainable practices. Through the development of shared methodologies, tools, and guidelines, the project would enhance the professionalisation of partners, ensure smoother and more consistent implementation across countries, and maximize long-term impact. This structured approach would not only reinforce the collaborative spirit but also generate transferable and scalable outcomes, extending the benefits to the wider European educational and scientific community.
