The long term goal of React remains centered around staying relevant in the youth field and providing high quality activities for young people from Luxembourg and abroad. React's vision is centered around music, arts and sports and lately expanding towards crafts. We explore the potential of these fields and how different methods within can be used in youth work. The activities delivered were building within three main domains in which React is active with the addition of crafts as a combination of arts and mindfulness. This project was a step forward towards the long term vision of React. As before, with this project we also wanted to provide mobility opportunities that bridge non-formal methodology with music, arts, crafts, and sports. The target group was young people from Luxembourg and all over Europe who would benefit from an international mobility activity. The sub-activities delivered tackled various topics such as: sports, health and wellbeing, music and its potential to build bridges, enhance cultural sharing and support self-expression, dance as a means of multiculturalism, dance as a means of movement and arts whilst being active, filmmaking and music making as tools to convey a message, upcycling, recycling and its potential within arts and crafts. The activities envisioned a safe space and stimulating environment where each participant could step out of their own comfort zone and take from the activity as much as they are willing to. Each activity tackled a different topic/thought/perspective that was elaborated via music-based exercises, various forms of arts, crafts, and/or sports as a means to achieve the goal. The activities were always coherent with at least one of the European youth goals and fell in line with at least one of the Erasmus+ horizontal priorities. These activities supported key Erasmus+ priorities, including inclusion and diversity, youth engagement, gender equality, mental health, quality learning, and participation for all. They also contributed to a greener, more sustainable Europe and supported both green and digital transitions. The project also addressed several European Youth Goals: inclusive societies, climate action, mental well-being, youth participation, civic engagement, and equal access to opportunities.
