The project “Youth Voices, Democratic Choices: A Simulation Experience – Youthcracy” aimed to provide young people from various European regions with a sound understanding of democratic decision-making processes and political engagement. Through an interactive simulation week, participants were empowered to understand democratic systems, reflect on political opinion formation, and recognise and exercise opportunities for participation. The project also focused on promoting intercultural competences, social inclusion, and critical thinking. Young people from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds engaged in a shared learning process marked by diversity, participation, and self-efficacy. A key objective was also to include disadvantaged young people through targeted inclusion measures and to strengthen their motivation to engage in European youth policy beyond the project.
