The aim of the youth exchange project "Celebrate!" was to give 30 young people from four project partner countries the opportunity to learn more about the EU's youth objectives, while also focusing on the importance of active participation, community building, and volunteer work in society, as well as broadening young people's understanding of different European cultures and their sense of belonging. The project's objectives were: - To promote young people's understanding of the EU Youth Goals, in particular those focusing on gender equality, inclusive society, well-being and quality learning; - To involve young people in practical volunteering processes, thus giving them the opportunity to try out volunteering in a practical way, draw their own conclusions, and better understand the culture of volunteering and the elements of community building in creative environments and places; - Enable young people to explore the interrelationship between culture and identity and promote discussion on the use of culture as a tool for community building, bringing together different social groups and interacting with others; - Encourage young people to participate in Erasmus+ projects and share opportunities with others, promoting awareness of the importance of youth mobility opportunities in the development of the youth field in an international and accessible way. The youth exchange project took place from June 9 to 18 in Hamar, Norway, and provided an opportunity for young people from Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, and Norway to explore the project's themes and develop personal skills related to the project's goals through informal education methods. Erasmus+ youth worker mobility “Project LAB - Youth Goals” took place from August 11 to August 17, 2025, in Inčukalns parish, Gauja, Latvia, and its aim was to enable youth workers and youth organisations to collaborate and plan their ideas for projects focused on the European Youth goals within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme. 29 participants involved in youth work from Finland, Poland, Turkey, Latvia, Estonia, Romania, Lithuania, Hungary and Bulgaria improved their knowledge and understanding of the Erasmus+ programme and the European Youth Goals during the training. Participants improved their competences in the design and development of Erasmus+ programme projects, planning non-formal education activities, and preparing Erasmus+ project applications. Participants also raised awareness of the quality, impact and sustainability of Erasmus+ projects. The training “Project LAB – Youth Goals” provided an effective environment for the exchange of knowledge, experience and ideas among youth professionals across Europe. The project strengthened the professional capacity of the participants and encouraged concrete action to further implement initiatives that contribute to the achievement of the European Youth Goals with the support of Erasmus+. The training provided a balanced combination of theoretical and practical learning, which strengthened the professional competences of youth workers, created new international partnerships and promoted the implementation of the European Youth Strategy in practice.
