The activities in this period of our Erasmus+ accreditation helped us in achieving the following objectives of our general accreditation: quality environmental education, responsible organizations as a resource, create more strategic youthwork and strengthen the capacity to work with youth with fewer opportunities. More specific aims we worked on through this project regarding environmental sustainability and climate change mitigation: To raise environmental and climate awareness and action in the field of youth through re-creating the connection with nature (also in urban settings) and through active participation; Rise awareness about climate crisis and environmental issues among youth workers; Re-establish the connection with nature and explore its impact on mental well being; Equip youth workers with nature- connection tools they can use in their daily work with youth Equip youth workers with tools they can use in their work with youth on climate and environmental issues. More specific aims we worked on through this project regarding inclusion and diversity: Get to know and exchange practices in working with young people in incarceration and in probation; Explore youth work in prisons through art, circus and non-formal education; Create new common project ideas that would improve the quality youth work in the imprisonment and probation; To assist people working with youth to develop a light and impactful attitude in working with youngsters with fewer opportunities; Explore creative writing, performative arts, clowning approach and how through these practices to encourage youth to be more assured of their abilities to share and express themselves in a healthy way. To sum up our intended achievements: we planned and implemented these activities together with our partner organizations because we want to diversify the youth field in Europe by offering meaningful and impactful activities. We believe in a more interdisciplinary approach, therefore we follow the mental health specialists' suggestions about how the lack of nature connection can negatively affect our well-being. Besides that we involve more experts from other European countries (nature-based guide youth worker, circus pedagogue, art therapist - youth worker, participatory theater expert - youth worker) to diversify our offer to our participants. Besides that, we try to involve more specialists of institutions such as staff members of prison and probation offices that work with young offenders and to improve our cooperation. These five activities have helped us to make a step closer to these intentions.
