Implementing the project "Time for AI", we aimed to bridge the gap between young people and the rapidly developing field of AI, making AI a tool that young people can use responsibly, understanding both its positive and negative impact. The project objectives were: Educate young people about AI: Provide participants with an understanding, possible impact, and proper use of AI. Develop critical thinking and analytical skills: Teach young people to evaluate the impact of AI and make thoughtful decisions about using this tool in education and daily life. Promote social inclusion: A key part of the project "Time for AI" was the inclusion of social risk youth. It was ensured that at least half of the participants from each country (Latvia, Italy) were young people with fewer opportunities. These young people faced economic difficulties, geographical barriers, health problems, or social exclusion. Within the project, we provided an inclusive environment, an opportunity to express their opinions, and all necessary support to ensure their full participation in all activities. At the same time, within this project, every young person learned how to support each other, ensure an inclusive environment, accept everyone, and foster mutual understanding. Our goal was not only to ensure their participation in the project but also to provide these young people with the opportunity to integrate into society and improve their skills so they could reach their full potential. Foster intercultural understanding: Bring together young people from different countries, promoting the exchange of experiences and practices. Promote gender equality: Ensure equal opportunities for all participants, regardless of gender. Overall, the project's goal was to create responsible and informed AI users who can think critically and act wisely, as well as to promote the integration of young people into society.
