The project "Empathic Way: Journey of Nonviolent Communication" aimed to equip youth workers with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) skills to improve their interactions with young people and strengthen their ability to manage conflicts in a more empathetic and effective way. The objectives included enhancing participants communication skills, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution strategies while fostering a culture of empathy within their organizations. The project also aimed to empower participants to share NVC knowledge in their communities and integrate these methods into their youth work practice. The project had two main training activities: Activity 1 focused on introducing the fundamental principles of NVC, including the four key elements—observations, feelings, needs, and requests. Participants developed active listening skills, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence while learning basic conflict resolution techniques. Activity 2 built on this foundation, exploring more advanced NVC techniques for managing difficult situations, conflict resolution, and facilitation. Participants also gained experience in leading NVC workshops and integrating these methods into their work.
