The main objective of the project “Dots devējam atdodas” was to introduce local young people — particularly those with limited motivation and knowledge about civic engagement — to opportunities in youth participation and voluntary work. The project aimed to encourage these young people to become more actively involved in civil society and to raise awareness of how their involvement can bring both personal growth and community benefits.Through this project, we specifically sought to support the development of rural youth by providing them with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. By combining learning sessions with hands-on volunteering opportunities, we aimed to enhance their skills, confidence, and awareness of their potential role in shaping a more inclusive, engaged, and active society.
