Objectives

The main aim of the project was to strengthen the competencies of youth workers in order to improve the quality, impact, and innovation of youth work practices in North Macedonia, neighboring partner countries and wider Europe. By organizing two professional development training activities, we wanted to create opportunities for youth workers to enhance their digital literacy, leadership skills, and capacity to support young people’s participation in democratic life. The specific objectives of the project were: 1.To foster international cooperation and exchange of good practices among youth workers from EU and neighboring countries, enabling them to adapt innovative approaches in their local contexts. 2.To develop digital and smart youth work competencies, equipping participants with practical tools and methods for engaging young people in digital spaces and addressing challenges of digital transformation. 3.To promote inclusion and diversity by ensuring active participation of youth workers with fewer opportunities, while also encouraging the use of green travel options in line with sustainability priorities. 4.To inspire creativity and leadership in youth work, supporting youth workers in designing innovative initiatives and action plans that align with EU youth goals. 5.To strengthen organizational capacity and networking, by creating long-term partnerships and collaborative platforms that will enhance the quality and reach of youth work across Europe. 6.To disseminate and multiply results through Youthpass, online platforms, and local follow-up activities, ensuring that gained skills and knowledge benefit the wider community of young people and organizations. Through these objectives, the project contributed to the Erasmus+ priorities of participation in democratic life, digital transformation, inclusion and diversity, and environmental sustainability.
