Objectives

With this project we wanted to broaden the horizons of our participants, expose them to diverse cultures, and nurture their senses of global citizenship. In todays world travel plays a big role in personal growth and development, by going to new environments the participants can gain invaluable insight into different way of life, challenging their beliefs and cultural stereotypes, and expanding their knowledge. the objectives of this projects were divided per country: Bulgaria serves as a significant destination, offering valuable insights into regional dynamics. Unfortunately, misconceptions and political propaganda often paint Bulgarian people negatively in our country. To counteract these misconceptions, we wanted to expose our participants to the reality of Bulgarian society. Beyond the beautiful sights, our visit to Bulgaria provided an opportunity to interact with its citizens and showcase that they are not defined by the political tensions between our countries. By fostering direct engagement and cultural exchange, we destroyed stereotypes and promoted mutual understanding and respect among participants.Greece has rich history, stunning cities, monuments, and museums, providing participants with an immersive cultural experience. Turkey showcases diverse culture, customs, and religion, aiming to foster understanding and unity among participants. with this country we wanted to show that different religions do not divide us as people, they just define a part of us, and that an individual should not be judged because of their religious background. Romania offers breathtaking natural landscapes, a Gothic history, and the allure of Dracula's story. Serbia, with its similar culture to North Macedonia, serves as a comparison point, highlighting areas of development and cultural exchange. So, shortly, each country was a lesson point in different areas for our participants, giving them a chance not only to see and enjoy the country but also to learn something valuable from them.
