The project aimed to help young people and youth leaders grow into active, informed, and value-driven members of society. Its main goal was to connect personal development, faith, and civic responsibility, encouraging participants to live out values such as human dignity, solidarity, and care for creation in their daily lives. Through a series of international activities, the project promoted leadership training, intercultural learning, environmental awareness, and responsible digital participation. These activities directly supported the project’s broader objectives: to strengthen civic involvement and political participation (Objective 4), to improve the quality of human life and social cohesion (Objective 2), to promote environmental awareness (Objective 1), and to meet the ongoing need for trained youth leaders (Objective 6). The first activity, “Voices in the Agora,” focused on civic participation and moral responsibility. Participants learned about democracy, dialogue, and active citizenship through workshops and debates inspired by Catholic Social Teaching. The programme helped them understand their rights and responsibilities as young citizens, develop confidence in expressing their opinions, and learn to engage in respectful public discussion. The activity also encouraged them to design small civic actions within their own local communities , turning ideasinto concrete initiatives. The “Training for Youth Leaders” seminar strengthened the leadership skills of youth workers and volunteers. Participants explored what ethical and inclusive leadership means in practice and reflected on their motivations and behaviours as leaders. They learned how to guide others with respect, build cooperation within diverse teams, and create safe and welcoming spaces in their organisations. The seminar also encouraged spiritual and personal reflection, helping participants connect leadership with service and responsibility toward others and the environment. The “Rooted in Hope” youth exchange focused on ecological awareness and intercultural friendship. Young people from different countries came together to discuss environmental challenges, share good practices, and reflect on how their faith inspires them to protect creation. Workshops and outdoor activities helped participants experience nature directly and understand how small changes in lifestyle can lead to more sustainable communities. The exchange also built strong bonds of solidarity, promoting hope, cooperation, and long-term collaboration between youth groups across Europe. The final activity, “Digitalised,” addressed the growing influence of digital technology and artificial intelligence in young people’s lives. Youth leaders explored how to use technology responsibly and ethically in youth work, balancing innovation with human connection. Expert-led sessions and discussions helped participants reflect on the benefits and risks of technology, including online safety, misinformation, and overuse. A key focus was digital inclusion, ensuring that technology is used to reach young people with fewer opportunities and to promote equity. Participants developed strategies to use digital tools for participation, learning, and community building, in line with the EU Goal on Digital Transformation.
