Objectives

The Sharitage project aimed to inspire and equip youth workers with practical tools and methods to promote tolerance and combat discrimination among young people. The main objective was to use the multicultural heritage of Malta as a living example of successful coexistence between different cultures, and to explore how this could serve as a basis for intercultural learning. Specifically, the project sought to: Raise awareness among youth workers about the value of cultural heritage in fostering tolerance and inclusion. Provide participants with concrete, non-formal educational tools to work with youth on issues of diversity, identity, and discrimination. Create a space for sharing experiences and good practices among youth workers from different countries and cultural backgrounds. Encourage the creation of youth-friendly media products that promote intercultural understanding and respect. Empower participants to become multipliers in their own communities by disseminating the outcomes and methods of the project. Through this initiative, the project aimed to contribute to building a more inclusive, respectful, and culturally aware European youth sector.
