Objectives

In order to address the needs and challenges we’ve set and achieved the following objectives: 1. Gain competence in designing and delivering education around sustainability, resilience and wellbeing, specifically in the context of marginalised groups; 2. Improve the skill and competencies of our staff in non-violent communication, conflict resolution and facilitation; 3. Update our curricula and our staff's skills with cutting-edge innovative, collaborative and creative education methods.

Background

Papaya Kuir uses adult education to empower learners who are at the intersection of a range of marginalised identities. In order to offer better services to our beneficiaries and uplift our staff we identified the following needs: to improve our skillset around sustainable involvement (specifically for marginalised groups), update our staff’s methodologies and specifically upskill our staff in non-violent communication and conflict resolution.
