We aim to provide our fewer opportunity students with a broader view of different cultures and to promote understanding of inclusion and diversity. We also strive to develop skills to participate in critical social discussions and democratic citizenship. We want to anchor this goal in the culture and organization of our school by including the lessons learned and the studytrip in the curriculum of our courses for students with fewer opportunities (level 1 and 2).
International activities for students and employees are well anchored in our VET college. Unfortunately there are insufficient opportunities for our fewer opportunity students to participate in these international activities. With this projectapplication we aim to create opportunities for this target group so they can also develop intercultural competences, basic skills and professional skills during a study trip to a training company in Sweden who we have a well established relationship with.
