Erasmus+ Youth Exchange „Green Youth” on the topic of climate change aimed to build the capacity of a heterogeneous group of 29 young people (aged 18--28) from Curaçao, Portugal, Turkiye and Poland to adequately address and respond to their communities’ environmental challenges. This was achieved by enhancing the participants’ knowledge of climate change science, including its causes, consequences, and impacts at both local and global levels, as well as by promoting eco-friendly living. The project also strengthened the youth’s impact on global climate issues by empowering educated young people to act as multipliers. Also the project created a safe space for interpersonal and intercultural dialogue, personal and professional development, critical thinking and the development of campaigning skills among the participating youth.
