Among our 18 months of the project we really count on fostering active and meaningful youth engagement in local governance and community development. During couple of brainstorming sessions, needs assessment and its analysis we set our objectives for this youth participation: Objectives: 1.Teach min.120 young people about the local government structure, policy-making processes, and the concept of civic engagement 2.Establish and strengthen channels of communication and collaboration between young people and local decision-makers in Eemsdelta 3.Provide min.120 young people with the opportunity to express their views and ideas through creative means and creating a handbook in order to help decision makers understand the youth involvement from youth perspective.
