I, Naomi am an 18-year-old, positive, and committed person with a great interest in culture and theatre. I am blind and need facilitation and support to be able to participate in various activities. I have little experience of traveling outside Norway, but have a strong interest in experiencing new places, people and cultures. Through a year of support contact, I have expressed my desire to travel and experience the world after inspiration from my support contact. The project with interrail is something I find exciting and want to participate in. I see the journey as an opportunity to challenge myself, experience new things and learn about other cultures. Meeting people from different countries and learning from their way of life and cultural differences is important to me. I also see the trip as an opportunity to increase my independence and cultural competence. I hope to have the opportunity to make long-lasting friendships and learn skills that will be useful to me in adulthood. Through the project, I also want to contribute to environmental protection by traveling by public transport and supporting the local community.
