The project aimed to increase trainers’ integration and enhance the skills of at least 20 educators (across 24 mobilities) in areas including social inclusion, environmental education, adult teaching methodology, storytelling, and language skills. The project also aimed to disseminate results across the network, establish connections with European Food Banks, create a partner database for future international projects, and strengthen the soft skills of 6 learners.
The project implemented 26 mobilities: 18 training sessions (5 days each), 7 job-shadowing visits, and 1 group mobility. A total of 23 trainers participated. Federation of Polish Food Banks develops a network of educators across 31 Food Banks, who annually conduct 3000–5000 workshops for people at risk of social exclusion, covering topics such as financial education, food waste prevention, healthy eating, culinary workshops, and social inclusion, thereby strengthening participants’ competencies.
