Through the project, we aimed to create a space for young people and youth workers to develop the competencies necessary to function in today's globalized world. The key intention was European integration, understood not only as cooperation between institutions, but above all as building bonds between young people from different countries, fostering openness, mutual understanding, and social participation. The project's goals included: 1. Developing intercultural and linguistic competences among young people In a rapidly changing world where transnational relationships are commonplace, we aimed to strengthen young people's intercultural communication skills, openness to diversity, and fluency in foreign languages. The implemented mobilities aimed to overcome cultural, historical, and linguistic barriers, as well as foster an attitude of curiosity and acceptance of others. 2. Sharing experiences and knowledge through international partnerships We wanted to show participants that international cooperation opens up perspectives impossible to achieve within a single institution, and that joint activities can yield greater results and inspire further development. The inclusion of partners from various parts of Europe enriched the project with new experiences, diverse working methods, and different perspectives on youth issues. 3. Strengthening youth's social competences The project aimed to foster attitudes of active participation, responsibility, and social engagement. It was important for young people to realize that their potential – intellectual, creative, and organizational – can have a real impact on their future and the development of the region. 4. Environmental education and developing pro-environmental attitudes One of the key elements was youth mobility, dedicated to environmental workshops titled "Environmental Management." Participants learned about responsible use of natural resources, giving objects a second life, and shifting the mindset from "throw away" to "how can I reuse it?". The goal was to build environmental awareness and promote a proactive attitude towards environmental protection. 5. Improving the quality of youth work through staff development Another goal of the project was to strengthen the competences of PWK staff through participation in training mobility, including: • an introduction to intercultural communication, • modern methods of working with youth. Thanks to this, staff gained tools for more effective international cooperation, better support for youth development, and implementation of innovative, engaging forms of education. 6. Building European awareness and openness to cooperation The project aimed to foster a sense of European community, an understanding of common values, and the recognition that European integration offers development opportunities at both the individual and regional levels. In summary, the project was multifaceted—it combined the personal and social development of young people, strengthened staff competencies, and built lasting international cooperation. Through ecological mobility and intercultural training, we achieved our goals of developing linguistic, social, ecological, and intercultural competencies, and also increased the effectiveness of educational and pro-social activities in our region.
