2024-1-PL01-KA151-YOU-0002098272024Mobility of young people for accredited organisationsongoing
Countries: PL · Grant: €84,111

Objectives

The main objective of the accreditation was to strengthen the role of handicrafts in youth education and inclusion by developing an international cooperation model based on intergenerational exchange, creative expression, and the promotion of young craftmakers. The projects aimed to provide young people with a space for personal development, intercultural learning, and acquiring entrepreneurial and educational skills through craftwork. By combining the potential of youth, experienced educators, and local craftspeople, we sought to: • promote handicrafts as a valuable tool for education, social cohesion, and cultural heritage preservation, • support the personal and professional growth of young people, including those with fewer opportunities, • create a network of young craftmakers and educators in Central and Eastern Europe, • provide tools and resources that will remain in use beyond the duration of the projects. The initiative also aimed to promote values such as active citizenship, sustainability, and lifelong learning through hands-on creative activities, mentoring, and international cooperation.
