Objectives

Project Goals and Objectives The primary goal of our project was to provide young people, especially those from rural areas with limited access to educational opportunities, with meaningful experiences in non-formal education. We aimed to engage them in social, cultural, and recreational activities outside school, create spaces to develop their passions, and broaden their horizons through international experiences. This addressed their educational, social, and personal needs, enabling them to gain skills, self-confidence, and intercultural awareness. Our main objectives were: #Providing equal opportunities thorugh ensured participation of young people with financial, geographical, or social barriers and created an inclusive learning environment. #Fostering personal development and leadership skills through supported creativity, teamwork, and intercultural competences of young people aged 14–17 and strengthened leadership capacities of those aged 18–25. #Encouraging intercultural exchange through allowed participants to discover different cultures, make international friendships, and value diversity. #Promoting healthy and sustainable lifestyles through supported physical and mental well-being through outdoor, sports, and cultural activities while raising awareness of environmental sustainability. #Strengthening local engagement through encouraged young people to design and implement projects in their communities and become more visible and active locally. #Building organizational capacity through developed youth workers in digital tools, innovative methodologies, and professional skills to ensure organizational stability and sustainability. # Empowering through Erasmus+ through promoted European values and used Erasmus+ to engage, connect, and empower young people. A crucial goal was also impact on the local community. Activities created a multiplier effect: participants shared knowledge, skills, and experiences with families, friends, and schools. Parents, teachers, and local institutions became more aware of youth engagement and international cooperation, while the project fostered a positive transformation in the community, increasing youth visibility and active participation. Additionally, we aimed at seizing new opportunities. While objectives were clearly defined, we anticipated unexpected opportunities during the project, including new ideas, partnerships, and approaches. By engaging with diverse participants and professionals, we sought to maximize these opportunities, turning unexpected encounters into valuable experiences for both participants and staff, enhancing learning and long-term impact. Innovative and Lasting Impact: Through this project, we had aimed not only to address the immediate needs of young people but also to establish a framework for sustainable development and future initiatives. By combining non-formal education with intercultural experiences and community engagement, we planned to create a model that could be replicated and adapted for future projects. Erasmus+ was used not just as a funding mechanism, but as a strategic tool to strengthen our organizational capacity, foster innovation, and inspire young people to become active, responsible, and empowered citizens. This approach ensured that the benefits of the project would extend well beyond its duration, leaving a lasting positive impact on participants, staff, and the wider community. In summary, this project provided accessible, inclusive, and high-quality non-formal education, developed leadership and intercultural skills, strengthened local engagement and community impact, enhanced professional capacities of youth workers, and leveraged Erasmus+ as a tool for empowerment, international cooperation, and promotion of European values. By achieving these objectives, we addressed immediate needs while creating sustainable, long-term benefits for participants, staff, and the wider community, ensuring organizational growth, innovation, and positive societal impact.
