Objectives

The aim of the project was to strengthen the quality of youth work and to develop the competences of both young people and youth workers through the implementation of two international activities – a study visit in Latvia and a youth exchange in Poland. Through these activities, we aimed to: increase youth participation in non-formal education and international cooperation, foster pro-environmental attitudes, awareness of sustainable development, and responsible use of natural resources among young people, enhance young people’s social, civic, and intercultural competences, support the professional growth of youth workers by introducing them to good practices and youth work models from other countries, strengthen the international cooperation of Stowarzyszenie Młodych and its partners, especially organizations operating in smaller communities, promote European values such as solidarity, openness, and civic engagement among young people. The study visit in Latvia was designed for youth work professionals and aimed to explore innovative youth work solutions, exchange experiences, and build lasting international partnerships. The youth exchange in Poland (“Flow for the Future”) focused on developing ecological habits and pro-social attitudes. Participants from five countries, through joint workshops, outdoor activities, and educational games, learned how to combine care for the environment with an active lifestyle and responsible social participation. The implementation of the project brought together young people from different countries, strengthened their sense of agency, and fostered long-term cooperation between partner organizations in the spirit of European solidarity.
