Objectives

The project's primary goal was to encourage young people to actively participate in civic activities and to motivate them to consciously and independently shape their own future in their local community. To achieve this goal, we employed non-formal education methods that supported the development and consolidation of key competencies aligned with European Union guidelines. The project participants had the opportunity to engage in intensive discussions, analyses, and reflections on various ways of actively and constructively engaging in the civic life of their communities. This process yielded many valuable insights and conclusions that provide a solid foundation for further action in this area. Concepts for four social projects were developed and submitted to local authorities, and one activation activity was implemented, providing an opportunity to practically utilize the acquired competencies. The project also fostered stronger bonds between peers from partner countries, significantly increasing their motivation for continued, fruitful collaboration in subsequent educational initiatives. Particular attention was paid to including young people with fewer opportunities or those facing difficult life circumstances, which is fully aligned with the priorities of the European Union and the Erasmus+ program. We provided them with intensive support, and their participation in the project far exceeded the initial assumptions, which is a great success for us.
