The modern job market increasingly requires digital skills. For youth workers, this means that without these competencies, they may be less effective, less attractive on the market, or have limited development opportunities. When working with young people, it's crucial to understand the tools they use and know how to utilize them in educational activities. Digital competences aren't just "computer literacy"; they also involve critical thinking, information selection, media literacy, online collaboration, and adapting to technological changes. Those without access or digital competences may be less socially inclusive and less prepared for the future. Bridging these digital divides is crucial in youth work. Youth workers with IT competencies can use tools to organize online classes, communicate, monitor outcomes, document activities, collaborate within teams, design interactive forms, and more. This allows them to be more effective, efficient, and impactful. The main goal of the activity: encouraging youth workers and young people themselves to use technology creatively. Specific goals include: - Strengthening youth workers' digital competences to enable them to use IT tools in youth work. - Facilitating access for young people (especially those with fewer opportunities) to activities through the use of new technologies. - Utilizing and adapting digital tools (applications, platforms, materials, methods) for youth work. Sharing youth workers' experiences with IT tools in youth exchange projects. - Developing skills in selecting appropriate IT tools at every stage of the project (planning, preparation, implementation, evaluation, promotion, and dissemination). - Raising awareness of youth digital addiction and cybersecurity. - Developing skills in using artificial intelligence in non-formal education. - Developing creativity, collaboration, and active involvement of young people in local and international activities. - Strengthening international cooperation among youth organizations and the exchange of good practices.
