Our project fully meets the horizontal objectives set out within the awarded Erasmus+ accreditation by strengthening young people’s civic engagement, supporting the development of social competences and ensuring access to high-quality non-formal education. We consistently support young people in building a sense of agency, belonging to their local community and in developing attitudes based on respect, openness and responsibility. At the same time, we expand the local offer of educational activities, ensuring access also for young people with fewer opportunities and developing the competences of our staff working with young people. In the current year, we implemented three mobilities, including two youth exchanges and a training activity for youth workers. Each of these actions strengthened participants, improved the quality of our work and contributed to building lasting, international partnerships that support youth development. Our overall project consists of the following mobilities with their respective main objectives: Activity A1: Youth Exchange “Mind Your MIND” The main objective of this mobility was to prevent the negative phenomenon of declining mental health and well-being among young people and to counteract its consequences, while strengthening in participants the traits and attitudes that support emotional stability. The exchange was preceded by a preparatory meeting. A total of six partner organisations were involved (including the Polish group). Each group was represented by five participants and one supporting leader. The entire activity was facilitated by two facilitators. Activity A3: Youth Exchange “Stand Up, Speak Out” The main goal of this mobility was to strengthen active and responsible citizenship among young people through joint activities, intercultural exchange, and non-formal education promoting tolerance, inclusion and social engagement. The youth exchange was preceded by a preparatory meeting. A total of seven partner organisations were involved. Each group was represented by four participants and one supporting leader. The activity was facilitated by two facilitators. Two new partner organisations from Lithuania and Spain were also included in this mobility. Activity A5: Mobility of youth workers “Safe 2 Learn” The main objective of this mobility was to enhance the competences of youth workers in creating safe, inclusive and supportive non-formal learning environments, with particular attention to working with young people with fewer opportunities and effectively responding to difficulties, risks and crisis situations. This activity was not preceded by a traditional preparatory meeting, as such a meeting would not have been economically justified for a group of this size. Instead, we conducted strengthened preparation and an online preparatory meeting, whose main purpose was to prepare participants for practical outdoor activities and workshops, which formed an important part of gaining hands-on experience. A total of seven partner organisations were involved. Each partner was represented by three participants, selected based on the criteria previously described in this report. We focused on intensive work in a smaller team and on developing strategies and competences aimed at effectively supporting the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities in our future activities. The mobility was supported by one trainer, which was justified by the group size and the programme. Additional experts were involved as external contributors leading specific programme sessions, each with extensive experience in the field of inclusion and ensuring both psychological and physical safety (“safe learning environment”). Please refer to our social media materials, which illustrate the implemented activities much more effectively.
