Our project aimed to promote civic engagement among young people and show that participation in democratic processes brings real benefits to both individuals and entire communities. We sought to increase the level of civic participation among young people by engaging them in activities that developed social awareness, responsibility, and a sense of influence on their surroundings. The project enabled us to gain knowledge and practical skills related to active participation in social life, as well as to exchange experiences with peers from partner countries – Poland, Latvia, and Lithuania. Joint activities allowed us to better understand the importance of democracy, cooperation, and intercultural dialogue. Our project was an important step in building civil society – it was initiated, planned, and implemented by us, young people who wanted to take responsibility for positive change in our environment.
