Our Accreditation Project has three aims: Aim 1: To train 100 youth workers over 5 years in the area of 4C competencies and equip them with tools to develop these skills among young people. Aim 2: To enhance the workshop facilitation competences of at least 140 youth workers over 5 years in the area of non-formal education methods and learning-to-learn skills. Aim 3: To familiarise at least 180 youth workers over 5 years with the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) method and how to use it in their work with young people. In the second year of accreditation implementation (2024/2025), we organized four training courses for youth workers, each directly related to the above aims. Two of the trainings focused on empathic communication (Objective 3), one on developing training and facilitation skills (Objective 2), and one on creativity as part of the 4C competences in youth work (Objective 1). Activity A4 “Creative training for non-creative youth workers” addressed Aim 1. The training involved 20 youth workers, which means that in the second year of accreditation, Objective 1 was achieved at 20%. In total, taking into account the first year of accreditation, we have achieved 41% of Objective 1 (41 out of the planned 100 participants). Activity A1 “Me, myself and I: the trainer I have been, I am and I want to be” addressed Aim 2. The training involved 22 youth workers, which represents 22% of the target indicator. Including the first year, Objective 2 has been achieved at 30.7% (43 out of the planned 140 participants). Activities A2 “communiCARE+” and A3 “communiCARE 3.0” addressed Aim 3, related to introducing participants to the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) method. A total of 44 youth workers took part in these two trainings, which corresponds to 24.4% achievement of Objective 3 in the second year of accreditation. Including the first year, Objective 3 has been achieved at 35% (63 out of 180 planned participants). All activities were coherent and complementary, and their content directly aligned with the mission of the Fundacja Instytut Innowacji: to support the professional development of people working with youth by enhancing their facilitation, communication, and creativity competences. The project contributed to building a sustainable international cooperation network and improving the quality of non-formal education in Europe.
