Objectives

In implementing our accreditation, our primary objective was to provide young people and youth workers with opportunities to learn in an international environment and to develop the competences necessary for active participation in contemporary society. We also aimed to increase the internationalisation of the Foundation's activities, strengthen the quality of our youth work, and build sustainable international partnerships in line with the objectives of our accreditation. One of our key objectives was to strengthen young people's competences through participation in international mobility activities. We sought to develop their intercultural and communication skills, their ability to cooperate in diverse groups, as well as their independence, sense of responsibility, and self-confidence. We wanted participants to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, become more aware of their strengths and needs, and acquire experiences that would enhance their readiness to actively participate in social and professional life. Another important objective was to foster active citizenship and empower young people to become agents of change. During the "The Spark of Action" youth exchange, participants explored the opportunities offered by European Union programmes, discovered the value of volunteering, and learned how to design and implement their own community initiatives. Our goal was to help them recognise that they can have a real impact on their local communities and transform their ideas into concrete actions. As a result of this process, participants developed proposals for their own social projects. Personal development and the well-being of young people also constituted a key area of our work. The "The Way We Go" youth exchange provided a space for participants to reflect on their identity, relationships, and place in society. They developed empathy, openness towards diversity, and the ability to express their experiences in a conscious and authentic way. We also placed particular emphasis on empowering young women. Through the "Bloom Among the Peaks" youth exchange, our objective was to strengthen participants' self-esteem, resilience, leadership competences, and mutual support. The project encouraged participants to recognise their own potential, overcome barriers, and confidently pursue actions aligned with their aspirations. The final outcome of the project was a documentary film capturing the participants' learning journey and their most significant experiences. Our accreditation also included activities addressed to youth workers. The training course "Bridging Worlds in Youth Work" aimed to strengthen participants' intercultural competences, deepen their understanding of migration and social inclusion, and equip them with practical tools for working with diverse groups of young people. At the same time, the project contributed to building an international network of cooperation and facilitating the exchange of good practices among partner organisations. At the organisational level, our objectives also included increasing the internationalisation of the Foundation, strengthening the capacity of our staff, improving the quality of our activities, and implementing the Erasmus+ Quality Standards. We worked towards establishing sustainable international partnerships while promoting the core values of the Erasmus+ Programme, including active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, solidarity, and lifelong learning.
