Objectives

This year, in accordance with the established priorities and the amount of funding allocated, we focused mainly on implementing Training Course (TC) activities for youth workers, trainers, and leaders of organizations. Our overarching goal was to strengthen the professional competences of people working with young people, thereby improving the quality of non-formal education they provide in their local, regional, and international communities. We wanted the participants to have the opportunity not only to acquire theoretical knowledge, but above all to test new methods, tools, and approaches in working with young people in practice. The main goals we pursued this year included: developing leadership skills among youth workers, strengthening soft skills, developing entrepreneurial attitudes, improving the quality of education, providing training in project management, and promoting European values, gender equality, and active citizenship. The component related to the use of innovative digital tools and new technologies in education played a special role – it was important not only because of the current market needs, but also because of the need to prepare young people to function in a dynamically changing reality. Thanks to the organization of several TCs, youth workers had the opportunity to develop their skills in the areas of communication, project management, group animation, stress and emotion management, as well as gain new experience in working with non-formal education methods (such as forum theater, storytelling, simulation games, world café, and methods based on reflection and evaluation). We also introduced a block of activities dedicated to new technologies and artificial intelligence in youth work, which allowed us to increase the digital competences of the participants and equip them with specific tools for practical use. Although staff training was the dominant part of the accreditation, we did not forget about young people. The youth project “Myth in the Middle” was a valuable addition to the year-round activities – it enabled young people to develop their artistic, intercultural, and social skills. As a result, the entire accreditation year was complementary in nature – on the one hand, we supported adults working with young people, and on the other, we provided direct educational activities aimed at young participants. Our activities were consistent with the priorities of the Erasmus+ program, with a particular emphasis on improving the quality of youth work and incorporating equality, intercultural, and European aspects into the educational process. We wanted the participants to become multipliers of knowledge when they returned to their communities – by conducting workshops, implementing new tools, sharing experiences, and promoting active citizenship. In summary, we wanted to achieve three main outcomes with this year's accreditation: 1. Empowering youth workers – through training and professional development that will translate into higher quality work in their organizations. 2. Equipping participants with specific tools and methods – from project management, through artistic and reflective methods, to the use of digital tools and AI. 3. Building a coherent development path – combining activities for adult youth workers (TC) with activities for young people (YE) to ensure a comprehensive and lasting effect. Achieving these goals has allowed us to strengthen the organization and its partners, develop new initiatives, and above all, consistently build a space where young people and those who work with them can develop on many levels: local, national, European, and international.
