Objectives

The aim of our project was to raise environmental awareness among young people and help participants understand that each of us is responsible for the condition of the natural environment and can make a real contribution to its protection through everyday choices and active engagement. The "Eco Force" project was created in response to contemporary challenges related to climate change, environmental pollution, excessive waste generation, and the low level of environmental awareness among young people. The implementation of the project enabled young people to deepen their knowledge of environmental protection and acquire practical skills related to activities supporting sustainable development. During the youth exchange, participants from Poland, Greece, and Bulgaria worked together on solutions promoting climate protection, exchanged experiences, and developed a sense of responsibility for the future of our planet. Throughout the project, participants explored effective ways to combat climate change and promote actions aimed at reducing its negative impacts. They learned about methods of contributing to climate neutrality, analysed the importance of recycling and waste reduction measures, and discussed the consequences of climate change observed in today's world. An important element of the programme was also familiarising participants with the basic legal regulations concerning environmental protection and the requirements related to achieving climate neutrality objectives. The project also provided a platform for exchanging knowledge about renewable energy sources, with particular emphasis on energy generated from marine renewable resources. The knowledge gained and good practices identified during the project were subsequently shared by the participants within their local communities and across European networks, contributing to increased environmental awareness and the promotion of environmentally responsible attitudes.
