The main goal of the project was to strengthen the civic engagement of the participants and to broaden their understanding of how democracy functions. The project provided an excellent opportunity for an in-depth discussion about democratic values and the role that young people play in building a civil society. Participants had the opportunity to understand how their involvement, attitudes, and actions can have a real impact on shaping the world around them. The project was designed and implemented by young people from three partner groups. It was the youth themselves who acted as the initiators of the activities and who actively participated in every stage of the project’s implementation. They set clear goals for themselves and worked systematically to achieve them through dedication, creativity, and effective international cooperation. The knowledge and experience gained throughout the project were intended not only to raise the participants’ awareness of democratic processes and values, but also to strengthen their sense of agency and motivate them to take an active part in social and democratic life. Ultimately, the project became a platform for empowerment—encouraging young people to believe that their voices matter and that through collective effort, empathy, and participation, they can contribute meaningfully to positive change in their local and European communities.
