The "Film Democracy" project aimed at active, team-based work by youth from Europe to promote tolerance, respect for human rights, democracy, and its development in line with the values upheld by the European Union. We placed particular emphasis on supporting the development of local communities. As part of the project, we aimed to mobilize our local communities to fully participate in democracy—through participation in elections, engagement in local development, and building solidarity in everyday coexistence. During the project, we developed our talents and skills in conducting campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of democracy. We worked through film creation—producing educational films dedicated to civic activity, which were intended to inspire engagement and reflection on the role of the individual in a democratic society.
