The "Better eco-future" project has achieved all of its original goals. It was a continuation of the previous project on the subject of ecology implemented by our foundation, focusing on other areas of the problem of environmental pollution. The "Better eco-future" project touched on the subject of ecology, searching for lasting and effective solutions contributing to environmental protection, especially in areas such as the textile industry, which according to the source earth.org, produces 20% of sewage and as much as twice as much carbon dioxide as air and sea transport, and the food industry emitting huge amounts of plastic that degrades the environment, and also causes deforestation, which in turn contributes to the extinction of plant and animal species. These issues were the main topics of the project, and the problems that the participants were most interested in raising, who as young people, witnesses of climate change and a generation that was challenged to take effective action to stop it, were very involved in the implementation of the main activity, which undoubtedly translated into the success of the project. Young people actively participated in all activities, eagerly sharing their experiences, thoughts, ideas and opinions, making the project a youth exchange in the full sense of the word. The greatest achievement was raising ecological awareness among young people and local communities, especially residents of Miłków and Karpacz. Project participants took part in a number of activities, such as thematic workshops, clothing exchange campaigns and local meetings with residents, which aimed to promote ecological habits and counteract thoughtless consumerism, the problem of the textile and food industry was discussed in detail, and participants also shared what actions can be taken to be able to contribute to environmental protection and counteract global warming as individuals. Many topics related to finding long-term solutions were also discussed, such as renewable energy sources, but the main emphasis was on raising individual awareness and encouraging recipients to promote these ideas and pass them on. Thanks to international cooperation, participants also developed language and social competences and expanded their knowledge of the cultures of the partner countries. The project created a space for sharing initiatives and views, developing young people's creativity and promoting integration and exchange of experiences. It also managed to effectively promote the assumptions of the Erasmus+ program, engaging young people to actively participate in social activities with a European dimension. The project also brought results that went beyond the initial expectations, project participants spontaneously took additional initiatives, such as organizing local information campaigns in social media or grassroots cleaning actions, which shows their commitment and internal motivation to continue working for the environment. To sum up, the project was a success. It brought lasting educational and social effects, confirming that the subject of ecology is close to the young generation, and activities such as "Better eco-future" are necessary and worth continuing in the future.
